David Gateley is a senior fully accreditated plastic surgeon with over 30 years’ experience in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. He has a keen interest in facial procedures such as facelift, mini facelift, necklift, lower facelift, eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, rhinoplasty, fat transfer to the face and complementary surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation techniques. 

David Gateley studied medicine at Downing College, Cambridge and King’s College Hospital, London. Before starting his career in plastic surgery, he trained in general surgery, orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery. He also gained a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship in the US, achieving UK certification of higher surgical training in plastic surgery in 1996. He worked at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals and St George’s Hospital, where he was Head of Plastic Surgery. He has trained many of the current generation of plastic surgeons. Every year, he gives some of his time to operate and train plastic surgeons in developing countries. . 

David Gateley works out of Harley Street and Wimbledon, London. He has a holistic approach to facial treatments and likes to combine several techniques, both surgical and non-surgical, to achieve the best results for his patients. He shares the Kensington Medical patient journey ethos and champions high standards of integrity within the industry.

David Gateley is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons.
