The benefit of Ultherapy is that it takes less than one hour and no one need know. The procedure can target the face (upper and lower face), neck, chin, abdomen, arms and legs with no incisions on the skin surface.

It uses the body's natural response to the treatment, stimulating collagen growth and promoting healing.

The procedure takes one to two hours, depending on the area being treated with minimal recovery time after each session. It is a walk-in walk out treatment and you can return to your daily activities with no one ever knowing you’ve had the treatment.

What is an Ultherapy procedure?

Ultherapy is the only FDA approved minimally invasive treatment that uses pulses of ultrasound energy to create a thermal effect that will encourage the production of collagen. This effect will lift and tighten ageing skin without surgery. It works by delivering the power only in the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating new collagen growth and promoting healing.

The procedure takes about 60 to 90 minutes for each area treated (e.g., neck, jawline, lower face), and you can return to your normal daily activities immediately afterwards. The procedure delivers no heat or damage to the skin's surface, so minimal recovery time is involved.

What can an Ultherapy achieve?

Ultherapy will tighten and lift your skin using tried and tested technology to strengthen your skin from the deep layers. Ultherapy offers long-lasting results with no downtime or surgery.

How does an Ultherapy procedure feel?

Ultherapy is a non-surgical and minimally invasive treatment. It may give you mild discomfort. It doesn’t have an intense sensation, but it may cause patients with sensitive skin to feel a mild pinching or pulling sensation. The area treated with Ultherapy may be slightly red and swollen for a few hours, but this goes away within 24 hours.

What areas of the face and body can Ultherapy treat?

The non-invasive ultrasound waves can treat the face, brow, decolletage or chest, neck, arms, abdomen, and hips. It is well known for treating the lower face or jowl area, the upper face or brow area giving you a brow lift which impacts your drooping eye area.

Ultherapy is FDA approved for the face, neck and chest area (decolletage) with a clinic indication for lifting the skin on the chine, brow and neck.

What are the benefits of Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is a high intense micro focused ultrasounds energy that works to repair and stimulate the natural collagen giving a lifted and tightened skin. This beautifying effect has clear benefits:

  • It is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment
  • FDA approved to tighten and firm skin
  • It helps to generate the natural collagen and elastin stores in your skin
  • It can give you a refreshed and rejuvenated look
  • Lifts sagging and drooping skin
  • The best part of this treatment is that there is no downtime, no scarring and no injections

To maintain the results annual treatmetns are recommended.

Who’s a suitable candidate for this procedure?

Ultherapy is effective for patients who have signs of ageing with loose skin. For patients in good overall health, with no medical concerns, Ultherapy is the perfect anti-ageing treatment. To find out if you are a good candidate for this non-invasive procedure, contact Kensington Medical on Info@kensingtonmedical.co.uk. We can arrange a consultation to discuss your suitability for treatment.  Treatment can be carried out on the day of the in-clinic consultation.

How is an Ultherapy performed?

Before the procedure, we will cleanse your face and neck. Our medical professional will apply a mild ultrasound gel to help deliver energy evenly to the skin. They will then pass an applicator over the treatment area, delivering pulses of ultrasound energy under your skin. The ultrasound waves create micro-fractures in collagen tissue and stimulate new collagen growth while promoting healing. As the body naturally responds to treatment, collagen builds and tightens the skin.

How many sessions are recommended?

The number of sessions varies from patient to patient. The number of treatments you can expect to receive depends on the area being treated and your overall health, skin condition, and age. Generally, we recommend one treatment for optimal results.

To maintain results annual treatments are recommeded.

What other treatments can complement an Ultherapy procedure?

Ultherapy is a non-surgical treatment.  Many decide that they would like complimentary treatments such as wrinkle relaxing injections and dermal fillers to give them a more refreshed appearance and reduce further signs of ageing.
